Back in 1989 VH1 lost its mind (and so did every Corvette lover) and gave away 36 Corvettes, one from each production year going back to 1953. A carpenter (NOT KAREN) won the whole fleet!. He sold them to artist Peter Max who got busted and thrown in jail because of illicit tax practices. For years these Corvettes had been parked and gathering layers of dust. Such a crazy story, the tale became the TV series "The Lost Corvettes" and the Vettes have also been featured on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee with Jerry Seinfeld and Jimmy Fallon.
