Suicide Prevention Lifeline

Knocking down the stigma of seeking help. That has to be one of the key components that will turn around the stats, to get to lowering the rate of suicide. The Center for Disease Control  says suicide rates have gone up in just about every state since 1999. Suicide is one of the top causes of death in the US. spiking by more than 30% in half of US states. And that the majority of those who died by suicide suffered from things like relationship and financial problems, or health problems, as well as substance abuse, they weren't diagnosed with a mental health issue.

Opening up about the struggle is the first lifesaving step. If anyone you know is at risk for committing suicide please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. To just talk, at 1-800-273-TALK (8255)
