You might Not Know His Name But You Know This Song Of His

We lost a great musician this week, and we are guessing that you were like us...you knew his music but you didn't know his name. A part of your childhood has died because the guy who wrote the one of the most iconic "Schoolhouse Rock" song of them all passed away this past Wednesday. His name was Dave Frishberg and he was a jazz musician who was nominated for four Grammys.ut his most enduring work was the classic "I'm Just a Bill" . . . which he freely admitted was his most well-known song. He wrote two other "Schoolhouse Rock" songs that not a lot of people remember. One was called "$7.50 Once a Week" and the other one was called "Walkin' On Wall Street".Frishberg was 88 years old.
